About
The purpose of The Open Door Project is to
1. To provide a platform for collaborative interdenominational expertise in providing a safe place where people can learn and experience the values of the Christian faith and find help and support with spiritual and emotional needs.

2. To be of assistance to anyone including:
- Those who experience loneliness, bereavement, mental health, social, relationship and other life controlling challenges.
-
Learn about Christianity and receive prayer support.
3. To operate in any town in Scotland, initially in Inverness, where suitable premises can be found with disabled access.

4. To acquire or rent premises for the operation of a coffee shop, a bookshop and a meeting room or rooms staffed by a mix of paid and volunteer staff
We see a welcoming place large enough to accommodate a Christian bookshop, where you can have a coffee, and a quiet room e.g. for prayer or personal conversations
Our Vision
This Project is very much a venture of Faith in the God of all resources, both human and material (Heb 11:1; Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen).
We have no illusions that it is not going to be easy but we have to grasp the nettle and work while we can, ‘while it is Day, the Night is fast approaching’.
